The first rule of reality and truth is believe NOTHING the media tells you.
Just look at how the media skewed Governor Ron DeSantis telling students they don’t have to wear masks for his press conference.

Here’s exactly what he said
“You do not have to wear those masks. Please take them off. (laughter) Honestly, it’s not doing anything and we gotta stop with this COVID theater. So if you want to wear it fine, but this is ridiculous.”
DeSantis is absolutely a bit aggravated there, but I don’t think he was “scolding” or “admonishing” the students at all. He was likely very annoyed at the fact the kids were probably told to wear masks and maybe even thought it might have been done to make him look like a hypocrite.
How can I come to that conclusion?
EVERYONE in the video (except Gov. DeSantis - but it does look like he cracks a smile there when he was talking to the kids) are smiling!
Then all but three of them removed the masks right away. So I don’t think the kids felt like they were being scolded, admonished, or bullied by the Governor there judging by the laughter and none of them looked like they were scared there.

Ooops.
Whoever wrote that must really be in pain every month for the check they have to write for their student loan. Or more likely, their parents are.
